Horribly unfriendly staff. Bare minimum and no more. My son was hungry after the measly little sandwich and when we asked for another one, the stewardess scowled at us and looked like she was about to swear! An old lady sitting across from us asked for some water to take her medication with and it took them 40 minutes and several reminders to get there! Shocking!
Plane was ok, decent rates and it was on time but just not worth it…
Not so good, as expected.
I have been flying Lufthansa for over 25 years. Back and forth from the US to Europe. Always liked that they were on time, good with the luggage, even if something happened to it (found it or replaced it). Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed during our last few trips. First I thought it was a fluke. Service was bad, people unfriendly, not enough drinks, food etc. However, this continued on our next two flights to Germany and I am no longer willing to pay the extra fee to fly with Lufthansa.
They cut down on magazines, they cut down on drink service, they cut down on friendly skies. Well, good bye Lufthansa. If I am getting low cost service, I might just as well fly with a low cost airline.
Too bad.
