SAS is national airline of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. It’s headquartered in Sigtuna, Sweden. Airline operates 182 aircraft to 90 destinations. It has just one major intercontinental hub which is Copenhagen-Kastrup Airport. SAS has three larger hubs for European routs, Copenhagen-Kastrup is biggest, and its followed by Oslo Airport and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport comes as third. In 2012, airline carried around 26 million passengers, achieving revenues of 36 bilion, and that makes it 9th largest airline in Europe.
On the other side we have Lufthansa, national airline of Germany, and also largest airline in Europe. It operates flights to 18 domestic and 197 international destinations in 78 countries worldwide. It’s office and headquarters are located in Cologne. And its main operations base is located at its primary traffic hub at Frankfurt Airport.
