Scandinavian Airlines, commonly known as SAS, is flag carrier of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It’s also largest airline in Scandinavia. Airline’s only major intercontinental hub is at Copenhgen-Kastrup Airport. It’s also largest of three hubs for European routes, with Oslo Airport and Stockholm-Arlanda Airport as second and third. SAS is ninth largest airline in Europe, its fleet consists of Airbus A319, A320, A321, A330 and A340, Boeing 737 Next Generation, and Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.

On the other side we have Finnair, flag carrier and largest airline of Finland. It’s headquarters are located in Vantaa and its main hub is at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Finnair along with it subsidiaries dominate all flights in and out of Finland. Major shareholder of Finnair is government of Finland, with 55.8% of the shares. Finnair is a member of Oneworld airline alliance. In 2013, Finnair transported more than 9 million passengers to over 60 European and 13 Asian destinations.
