Intrepid Travel often gets a hell of a lot of negative feedback. I have done three trips with them already and while there is room for improvement there are many truly great aspects of the group trips. My tour leaders were always absolutely great. I did Vietnam, India and Turkey. I was in my own group of about 4-5 people. It was well organised, with only minor issues coming due to the nature of the places visited. The Intrepid accommodation was good each time but you must remember the countries you are visiting may not have the same high standards you may be used to. Some tours involve a lot of time on buses and some are slightly overpriced but overall Intrepid tours are great value for time/money and you do get to see the real side of the countries visited. I definitely recommend them.
