Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish footballer, who also plays in Manchester United as striker. He is well known for his attractive goals and his ego. Even though he could play for Bosnia and Croatia, he has chosen Sweden. He made his debut in 2001 versus Faroe Islands, and now he holds position of a captain and best player in Swedish history.

On the other side is Diego Costa, Spanish footballer who moved to Chelsea FC in 2014. One of first choices that Jose Mourinho made on his return to Chelsea was to bring Costa. Everybody thought he will need some time to adapt to playing at Chelsea game, but as soon as he started playing everybody have seen that new legend is born.

This comparison is one of the two most highly glamorous and hot headed players in the football circuit. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a striker from Sweden and Diego Costa is a centre forward from Spain. Both players have gained quite a huge reputation and following in the football world.

Ibrahimovic being tall and quick has the upper hand over his opponents for the aerial balls. He has a good physique which makes him tough to be taken down. He is also very well in encounters with the goal when his back is facing goal. Zlatan has scored some of the best finishes of all time. Zlatan can tactically play in any sort of attacking position but he is mostly deployed as a striker. His capabilities also include controlling the aerial ball, powerful headers and scoring of volleys.

Diego Costa on the other hand, plays the physical game while keeping the possession intact. He has been regarded as a good replacement for Didier Drogba for the Chelsea FC because of his ability to keep possession intact and also score goals. Earlier in his career he used to play more physical game which reduced his scoring opportunities but later on he found the balance in both the skills. Costa also plays mainly in the position of a striker.

Ibrahimovic holds the honour of representing almost all of the most elite clubs from all parts of Europe. He started with Malmo then went to Ajax, then Juventus then Inter Milan then Barcelona then AC Milan. From AC Milan he moved to PSG and then historically to Manchester United. (This list consists of dream clubs for any player and boy he went to all of them!).

Ibrahimovic holds the record for being the only player to have scored a goal from six different clubs in the champions league. Apart from this Zlatan has won many awards that include Serie A player of the year 3 times, Serie A top scorer, La Liga title, FIFA Club World Cup and many more.
On the other hand, Diego Costa has won the La Liga title, League Cup, UEFA Super Cup (with Atletico Madrid) , Premier League (with Chelsea), Copa Del Rey top scorer and more.

Apart from their achievements, Zlatan and Diego were also centre for many controversies. Zlatan has been found to indulge in many physical brawls with teammates and opponents. He also received many suspensions and consecutive match bans. Zlatan slapped Napoli player Salvatore Aronica, kicked teammate Antonio Cassano in the face, injured Rafael van der Vaart while playing in Holland, kicked Milan teammate Rodney Strasser during a training session and punched Ajax teammate Mido in the dressing room. This is the angry side of Zlatan.

Costa on the other hand has been accused by opponents as deliberately trying to injure others as well as play act to win fouls and penalties. There has never been though anything serious except for a three match ban he received after he stamped on a player against Liverpool.

But these incidents have not stopped them to achieve what they have been achieving. They are strong and firm for their love of football.
