Why do you think Sydney or Melbourne are better?
Sydney and Melbourne are the two largest cities in Australia.
While Sydney has arguably been a more popular destination for tourists overall, Melbourne has a very strong appeal and is always increasing in popularity.
Sydney boasts the infamous Sydney Opera House and beautiful beaches, with numerous tourist landmarks, whereas Melbourne’s magic lies is in its very own unique spirit, cultural appeal with a high quality entertainment, restaurant and bar scene a welcome bonus.
The cities are major destinations for local as well as international tourists.

I love Melbourne, many good restaurants. It is a bit of Europe in Australia.
Culture is so easy to access (museums, exhibitions, festival…). Lots of nice parks to enjoy a sunday picnic and close to the beaches St Kilda, Brighton…
Great Ocean Road is also amazing!!!!
The weather is not that great in winter, but it is a good excuse to go shopping to buy nice and warm jackets!!
