Car vs Motorbike:

Whether to buy a car or make do with a motorbike is a decision which used to be most prevalent amongst the segment which had just passed out of college and taken employment. Courtesy of economic crisis which stretched beyond its predicted boundaries, even the middle-aged reached a stage wherein they had to choose between a car and a motorbike. This is because a motorbike is cheaper as compared to a car in terms of fuel, insurance and maintenance and hence more affordable when the flow of cash is not so smooth.

As most bikers claim, a motorbike is likely to get you faster to your destination than a car because it gives you the freedom of zipping through the traffic which is unimaginable in a four-wheeler. Add to that the thrill factor and you have a recipe that reads convenience plus excitement and hence sounds more interesting than driving around in a car. That said, there is a flip side to riding a motorbike too and the foremost pertains to the danger involved especially while driving on wet roads. Donning protective gear is also a must as is the necessity to ensure that it remains in good working condition in order to serve its purpose well. Riding a motorbike for a long stretch could prove to be a strain on the body too particularly the spinal cord and limbs, thus necessitating the need for frequent breaks.

Having a car, on the other hand, translates into undertaking long drives without any health concerns or worries pertaining to safety. It also eliminates the need for any kind of protective gear other than pulling across the mandatory seat-belt, thus enabling the driver to save on time as also the extra hassle of maintaining the equipment. A car is your best companion in rough weather as it will not hinder your travel plans as long as you drive with care and caution.
