Kroger is much better than Aldi. The fish and chicken sold by Aldi are disgusting and I dislike buying one order of groceries from two different stores. They do have good coffee and snack foods but my focus is on vegetables, fruits, and PROTEIN as a shopper. Still frequently I find myself at Aldi due to the much lower prices. However, I prefer the atmosphere of a Kroger store to the atmosphere in Aldi.
