Aeroflot is national airline of the Russian Federation. It’s also Russia’s largest airline, with more than 30 000 employees. Aeroflot operates domestic and internationas passenger services, mainly from Sheremetyevo International Airport. It’s also one of the oldest airlines, founded in 1923. During Soviet era, it was Soviet flag carrier and largest airline in the world. It also joined SkyTeam in 2006.
On the other side we have Finland flag carrier, Finnair. Its headquarters are located in Vantaa and its main hub is at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Finnair togeather with its subsidiaries dominate domestic and international air travel in Finland. Biggest shareholders is the goverment of Finland. It is also a member of the Oneworld airline alliance.
